The common spotted orchid requires damp alkaline territory with deciduous
supporting species. It is medium sized, upright, six to eighteen
inches. Sometimes with marsh orchids.
These near Westonbirt (Wiltshire), and Cirencester and Stroud (Gloucestershire),
UK. June 1992 - 1999. Very little fragrence. Note variation 3. Some sites you
get one or two like this. Hybrid? Marsh orchids nearby in this case.
